Specialized Recovery Support by Our Registered Massage Therapist, McKayla Hart
At our clinic, we are proud to offer Post-Operative Lymphatic Massage Therapy, designed to support patients recovering from cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Our RMT McKayla, brings over five years of clinical experience along with specialized training in The BRAX Method– an evidence based approach to cosmetic post op recovery.
With the BRAX method, each client is involved in a custom recovery plan tailored to their individual needs. Each massage will include a variety of massage therapy techniques, including but not limited to: Manual Lymph Drainage, Fascial Manipulation, General Swedish Massage, Hydrotherapy and Cupping. The techniques used will vary depending on each individuals stage of recovery and tolerance.
During the inital treatment(s), the focus is on restoring a sense of safety within the nervous system and reducing swelling through gentle, non invasive manual lymphatic drainage and petrissage techniques. As recovery progresses, McKayla begins working with scar tissue—encouraging healthy tissue mobility and helping to minimize restrictions.
An important part of McKayla’s treatments includes providing education to her patients on proper homecare; specific to individual needs and monitoring the proper use of compression garments to ensure comfort.
Treatment Timeline
Ideally, McKayla would like to see clients 4-7 days post op for an initial treatment.
Treatments are gentle, comfortable and supportive. We have a variety of positioning supports available at our clinic to ensure patients are comfortable and supported while ensuring the safety of their surgical area.
Treatment frequency varies per patient, however most commonly we see patients weekly or bi weekly for 6-8 weeks post op.

45 minutes (Follow up only) $120.00
30 minutes (Follow up only) $90.00
